Scooter Rental Terms & Conditions
The renter agrees to rent a motorized scooter/trike from Okinawa North Scooter Rental under the following terms and conditions:
The renter hereby releases and discharges Okinawa North Scooter Rental, its servants, agents, officers, directors, and employees from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action for bodily injury, property damage, loss, death, medical expenses, or any other financial loss incurred by the renter or third parties resulting from the renter's use, control, or operation of the rental vehicle. This release includes, but is not limited to, claims for lost time from work or school, or any resulting disability.
If the rental vehicle sustains damage during the rental period, the renter agrees to be financially responsible for up to ￥30,000 of applicable repair costs.
The renter agrees to indemnify Okinawa North Scooter Rental for all costs, including reasonable attorney fees, incurred in defending any claim against them arising from the renter's use of the rental vehicle.
The renter acknowledges that they are capable and qualified to operate the rental vehicle, and agrees that the rental vehicle is exclusively for their use.
The renter acknowledges that the vehicle is in good, legal, and roadworthy condition upon delivery.
The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel. If not returned full, the renter agrees to pay for the cost of refueling, plus a service fee.
The renter understands that Okinawa North Scooter Rental is not responsible for any theft of the rental vehicle or personal belongings left inside the vehicle during the rental period.
Okinawa North Scooter Rental does not take responsibility for any damage to personal phones or devices resulting from the use of the scooter’s phone holder.
The renter will take appropriate precautions to secure their personal belongings during the rental period.
Upon termination of this rental, the renter will return the rental vehicle, key, and helmet in the same condition they were received, except for ordinary wear and tear.
The renter understands that they will be financially responsible for any applicable replacement costs if these items are not returned in the same condition they were received, except for ordinary wear and tear.
If the renter violates Road Traffic Law during the rental period, they agree to pay traffic violation charges, towage charges, storage fees, parking charges and any other related charges.
In the event of an accident involving the rental vehicle during the rental period, the renter will immediately cease driving the vehicle and comply with all laws and regulations. The renter will promptly report the accident to Okinawa North Scooter Rental and follow their instructions. The renter agrees to cooperate with Okinawa North Scooter Rental and related insurance companies, providing all necessary documents and evidence regarding the accident without delay.
The renter agrees not to take the rental scooter/trike outside of the main island of Okinawa. Taking the vehicle to other islands or regions is strictly prohibited. If the vehicle is found outside of the designated area, the renter will be held financially responsible for any associated costs, including recovery and repair expenses.
Any matters not covered in this rental agreement shall be governed by the laws, regulations, and general customs of Japan.
Deposits paid to confirm online bookings are non-refundable.
If the renter does not show up for the rental on the agreed-upon day without notifying Okinawa North Scooter Rental, the reservation will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Date changes depend on scooter availability. If no scooter is available, the deposit may be forfeited.
If the renter arrives late without notifying Okinawa North Scooter Rental before the scheduled rental start time, they will be charged from the originally agreed-upon start time. If the renter expects to arrive late, they should notify Okinawa North Scooter Rental at least 24 hours in advance, and the company will do its best to accommodate based on availability.
No refunds will be issued for unused rental periods if the renter decides to return the vehicle earlier than originally agreed.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
Okinawa North Scooter Rental may use the renter's personal information for purposes related to traffic violations, accidents, and insurance matters.
Snorkel Rental Terms & Conditions
The renter acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions related to the rental of snorkeling equipment from Okinawa North Snorkel Rental:
The renter understands and acknowledges that snorkeling and the use of snorkeling equipment involve inherent risks, including but not limited to potential injury or death. The renter voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the rental and use of the snorkeling equipment.
The renter has examined the rented equipment and finds it in good condition and suitable for their intended use. The renter agrees to return the equipment in the same condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted.
The renter agrees to use the equipment responsibly and solely for its intended purpose. The renter will not make any modifications to the equipment.
Any information provided to the customer by Okinawa North Snorkel Rental, its agents, or any associated parties regarding popular snorkeling locations is intended solely for informational purposes. This information does not guarantee the safety or suitability of the locations, and customers should not assume that such locations are without risk or danger. Weather conditions, underwater hazards, and other risk factors may affect the safety of snorkeling activities. Customers are encouraged to exercise caution, conduct their own research, and assess the conditions before participating in snorkeling activities.
The renter hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Okinawa North Snorkel Rental, its owners, employees, or agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the renter, or to any property belonging to the renter, while using the rented equipment.
The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Okinawa North Snorkel Rental, its owners, employees, or agents from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur arising out of or related to the renter’s use of the rented equipment.
The renter agrees to provide accurate emergency contact information in case of any incident or accident.
If the renter decides to return the snorkeling equipment before the agreed rental end date/time, they understand that no refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the rental period.
Late returns may result in additional charges.

Tropical Frog Log Cabin Terms & Conditions
To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for everyone, please carefully review and follow these terms and conditions. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Compliance: Failure to adhere to these rules may result in denial of access to guest rooms and facilities.
Liability: The guesthouse owners are not responsible for accidents or damages resulting from non-compliance with these rules and are not liable for injuries or damages occurring during your stay.
Occupancy Limit: A maximum of 3 guests per cabin.
Pets: Pets are not permitted, except for guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited throughout the property, except in designated smoking areas.
Check-in: 15:00 – 22:00
Check-out: 7:00 – 10:00
Late check-out: Late check-out might result in additional charges
Reporting Damage: Guests are responsible for any loss or damage they cause to the facility and must compensate for such, excluding ordinary wear.
Ensure that heating devices or cooking appliances are turned off before leaving the guest room.
Prohibited Items: Pets (except guide, hearing, or service dogs), items that produce foul or unusual odors, excessively large quantities of items, explosives, flammable substances, or ignitable materials, unauthorized firearms or swords and items that could pose a safety risk to guests.
Guests must avoid loud noises, singing, or any behavior that may disturb others.
Guests causing discomfort to others may be denied access to the guesthouse.
Guests must not alter cabin equipment without permission.
To help us maintain the quality and functionality of our facilities, we kindly ask that you only flush the provided toilet paper down the toilet. Please dispose of any other items, including sanitary products, wipes, and tissues, in the bin provided.
The cabin is for lodging and dining only, unless otherwise permitted.
Entry to non-designated areas is prohibited.
The Tropical Frog does not cover expenses for shopping, tickets, taxis, postage, or luggage shipping.
Lost items will be managed according to legal regulations.
Visits to rooms after 10 PM are not permitted.
Minors must have guardian consent to stay.
Notify the cabin owners in advance if you need to adjust your stay. Payments for extensions must be settled promptly.
Payments can be made in cash or by card.
Commercial use of guesthouse photos is prohibited and may result in legal action.
Any matters not specifically covered by these terms and conditions will be governed by the customs, laws, and regulations of Japan.
Termination Conditions: The guesthouse owners reserve the right to terminate this agreement if the guest violates these terms and conditions.
